Pat Marshall receives EODL Acting Award
On Sunday, November 3rd, 2025, adjudicator John P. Kelly awarded Brockville Theatre Guild’s own Pat Marshall with the Mae Carmichael Award for Acting.
Pat portrayed Alice in the The Rosewood Art Society, established 1933, the BTG’s entry in the EODL One Act Festival held in Perth. The production was first performed at BTG’s own one act festival held in May 2025 at the Arts Hub Brockville.
Pat was joined on stage by Sherry Leeder, Lisa Leroux, Neil Matheson, Will Wright and Joanne Riddell who received a nomination for another acting award. The play was written by Peter Paylor, produced by Cathy TeKamp, directed by Lorraine Palmer-Smith and stage managed by Heather Matheson.
Reed Hutton receives EODL Student Scholarship
Brockville Theatre Guild’s Reed Hutton is presented with the EODL Student Scholarship by EODL President and Brockville Theatre Guild member, Lisa Leroux, at the recent EODL One Act Festival held in Perth.
Reed has been involved in theatrical arts, both on stage and back stage, since the age of five! Last year he performed in the BTG’s production of “Calendar Girls” and was an ASM for both “Love and Avarice” (2022) and “A Christmas Story” (2019).
Reed travelled from North Bay to receive his scholarship where he is pursuing his post secondary education at Nipissing University. He hopes to become a drama teacher, just like his mom, Stephanie Hutton, who has also been an active member of the Brockville Theatre Guild. Congratulations Reed!
Lisa Leroux receives EODL Outstanding Service Award
EODL President and Brockville Theatre Guild’s own, Lisa Leroux is shown with EODL Past President Brenda Worsnop receiving the EODL Outstanding Service Award at the One Act Festival Awards Brunch in Perth.
Lisa is currently serving her second term as EODL President having previously served as the Vice President and Festival Liaison and the group rep to EODL for the Brockville Theatre Guild.
Lisa had performed in BTG’s production of The Rosewood Art Society, established 1933 in the EODLF One Act Festival.
